Sony Electronics announced today three new premium wireless speakers, the SRS-X77, SRS-X88 and SRS-X99 series that come with Google Cast™ and Spotify Connect, as well as multi-room capability via the Song Pal app.
The SRS-X99 boasts truly immersive sound with 154 Watts and seven speakers: Two super tweeters, two front tweeters, two mid-range drivers and a single subwoofer. The two Super Tweeters extend clarity at the higher frequencies and help create a wide soundstage ideal for Hi-Resolution listening.
The SRS-X88 features 90 Watts and five speakers: Two front tweeters, two mid-range drivers and a single subwoofer. The five speakers deliver clear sound with minimal distortion. The two super tweeters extend clarity at the highest frequencies and help create a wide soundstage ideal for Hi-Res listening while the two magnetic fluid speaker mid-range drivers deliver balanced and precise mids for a warm, organic sound.

Today HP introduced its new 13-inch HP Split X2 hybrid laptop line. The Split X2 joins the Windows 8-equipped Envy X2 line and Android-equipped SlateBook X2 line to give the users three choices in hybrid detachable devices.
The Split X2 is a 13.3-inch Windows 8 tablet PC with a detachable keyboard base unit. The Split X2 can function either as a clamshell-style notebook or as a slate tablet, since the system's processor, main storage, and primary battery reside behind the screen.
Split X2 is powered by an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, giving you more processing power than the Intel Atom-powered Envy X2. It comes in a darker silver finish that HP calls "Modern Silver." and just under an inch thick with the keyboard base, and weighs in at a pound heavier than the X2 with a total system weight of 4.12 pounds.
